Find a company's e-invoicing address

Enter a customer's SIREN or SIRET. TierSafe checks the company in the SIRENE register, then gives what the French e-invoicing directory publishes for it: listing, active addresses and attached approved platform.

If the directory must first be queried for this company, we send you the answer at this address. It is only used for that, then deleted.

5 free checks per day, no sign-up. The number and the e-mail are only kept if the answer is sent by e-mail, and until it is sent.

Why check a customer's e-invoicing address

Since 1 September 2026, every French company must be able to receive e-invoices. To deliver an invoice, your platform queries the e-invoicing directory: it tells it which address the customer receives on.

A customer missing from the directory, without an active address, or identified by a wrong SIREN, and the invoice does not leave, or goes to the wrong place. Checking the address before issuing avoids the rejection and the late payment that follows.

What the tool checks

Company

The number is checked (format and key), then the company is found in the SIRENE register. A SIRET leads to its company's directory entry.

Listing

The e-invoicing directory says whether the company is listed. If it is not, no e-invoice can be delivered to it.

Active addresses

The declared, active invoicing addresses: at SIREN, SIRET, routing code or suffix level. The tool points out the one to use when it is clear.

Attached platform

The directory says whether an approved platform is attached to the company, not which one: its name is reserved for platforms.

Answer by e-mail

If our copy of the directory does not know the company yet, the answer reaches you by e-mail as soon as the directory has been queried.

Frequently asked questions

What is an e-invoicing address?

It is the identifier under which a company receives its e-invoices: its SIREN, a SIRET, a routing code or a suffix. Its approved platform registers it in the directory, and the issuer's platform uses it to deliver the invoice.

Where does the information come from?

From the e-invoicing directory, made available by the French State on the public invoicing portal. TierSafe keeps a dated copy: the consultation date is shown with each answer.

Why does the answer sometimes come by e-mail?

When our copy of the directory does not know the company yet, the directory itself must be queried. If that is not possible right away, the request waits and the answer is e-mailed to you as soon as the query is done.

The company is not in the directory: what should I do?

It has probably not chosen an approved platform yet, or its platform has not registered it yet. Let it know: without an active address, it cannot receive any e-invoice.

How many searches can I do?

5 searches per day, all free tools combined, without signing up. To check the addresses of a whole customer file, upload it to TierSafe: the file check also compares these addresses with the directory.

A whole file to check?

TierSafe checks the SIREN, SIRET, VAT numbers, addresses, IBANs and e-invoicing addresses of your customer or supplier file in one go, then returns it corrected, ready to re-import. The first import is free.
